Privacy policy

Kept is a personal note assistant on WhatsApp: you send it facts to remember and ask it to recall them.

What we store

Your WhatsApp phone number (used to keep your notes private to you), the messages you send, and the notes derived from them. Nothing else is collected.

If you open your notes on the web, your browser keeps a sign-in cookie, and we keep a record of that session so it can be ended. That cookie is used only to keep you signed in.

How it's used

Your messages are processed by an AI model to classify, summarise, and answer them, and your notes are stored so we can answer your questions. Your notes are used only to serve you.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. It is not end-to-end encrypted — the service reads your notes to answer you, by design.

Your controls

Send delete my data at any time to permanently erase everything you've stored, including any web sessions. Send my notes for a private link where you can see your notes and delete them one by one. Message logs are purged on a schedule; your notes remain until you delete them.

Data sharing

We don't sell or share your data. It is processed by our AI provider solely to generate replies.
